Luxe Wallpaper (DIY-Friendly)
What is Luxe Wallpaper?
Luxe Wallpaper includes our premium Peel & Stick and Traditional non-woven substrates. Both are PVC-free, eco-conscious, and designed for residential interiors.
What is Luxe Peel & Stick made of?
Our Peel & Stick is a 10.2 mil ultra-thick non-woven material with a self-adhesive backing. It features a premium matte luster finish, excellent opacity, and high print clarity. It installs with clean butt seams (no overlap).
Is Luxe Peel & Stick high quality?
Yes. Unlike thin vinyl films, our non-woven substrate resists stretching, improves seam alignment, and minimizes wall color show-through. It feels like true wallcovering rather than decorative film.
Is Luxe Traditional wallpaper breathable?
Yes. Our non-PVC traditional substrate is breathable, allowing moisture vapor to pass through rather than trapping it. Breathable wallcoverings reduce the risk of bubbling and improve performance in normally humid environments.
Can Luxe wallpaper be used in bathrooms?
Luxe materials perform well in powder rooms and ventilated bathrooms. They are not recommended for direct splash zones or shower walls.
Can Luxe Peel & Stick be removed cleanly?
Yes. When installed on smooth, properly primed, fully cured painted walls, Peel & Stick removes cleanly. It should not be applied over flaking paint, textured walls, or unsealed drywall.
Pro Series Wallpaper (Professional Installation Recommended)
Pro Series wallpaper is designed for elevated residential, hospitality, and commercial interiors. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
What materials are included in Pro Series?
- Grasscloth (Natural Woven Fiber)
- Pearl Shimmer (Mica-infused metallic finish)
- High Traffic Commercial Grade Matte
What is Grasscloth?
Grasscloth is a luxury, hand-woven natural fiber wallcovering made from sustainable plant materials. Each panel will have tonal variation and visible seams by design. This material adds warmth and texture and is best suited for dry interior spaces.
Can Grasscloth be used in bathrooms?
No. Grasscloth should not be installed in high-moisture environments or splash zones due to its natural fiber composition.
What is Pearl Shimmer wallpaper?
Pearl Shimmer is a specialty wallcovering with a mica-infused surface that reflects light softly. It offers a subtle metallic glow without high gloss. This substrate enhances pattern depth and works beautifully in dining rooms, hospitality spaces, and statement interiors.
What is High Traffic Commercial Grade wallpaper?
This is a heavier-weight commercial wallcovering designed for durability in restaurants, hotels, offices, and retail environments. It offers enhanced scuff resistance, cleanability, and structural integrity.
Are Pro Series wallpapers fire rated?
Commercial-grade substrates typically meet Class A fire rating standards, making them appropriate for many commercial and hospitality applications. Always confirm local code requirements prior to installation.
Installation & Surface Preparation
What surfaces are suitable for wallpaper?
Wallpaper should be installed on smooth, primed, fully cured painted walls. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust or flaking paint.
Can wallpaper be installed over existing wallpaper?
Peel & Stick may be installed over stable, smooth existing wallpaper. Traditional and Pro Series materials should be installed on properly prepared surfaces for best adhesion.
Do panels overlap?
Luxe wallpapers are butt seam installation (edge-to-edge) for a clean and easy DIY architectural finish. Pro series varies my substrate.
Is professional installation required?
Peel & Stick is DIY-friendly. Traditional and all Pro Series materials are best installed by professionals to ensure proper seam alignment and substrate handling.
Performance & Durability
Which wallpaper lasts the longest?
Traditional and commercial-grade Pro Series substrates offer the longest lifespan. Peel & Stick prioritizes removability and flexibility over permanence.
Is Luxe wallpaper wipeable?
Yes. Luxe substrates are wipeable and resistant to normal household humidity.
How do I choose between Luxe and Pro Series?
Choose Luxe for residential, DIY-friendly applications and flexibility. Choose Pro Series for permanent installations, high-traffic environments, hospitality settings, or when elevated texture or metallic finishes are desired.
Do you offer samples?
Yes, of course! Ordering samples is strongly recommended to evaluate scale, color, and substrate in your lighting conditions.
